iPad-good; iPhone bad

I am pleased with the produce and ease of use on my iPad. However, it will not open on my iPhone. I read the description and it claims to be optimized for the iPhone 5, not so much. I was hoping to have a quick reference with me at all times. If this is fixed, I will definitely give it 5 stars, as I was aware of the benefits and limitations when I purchased it.
